  2. I don't know if "bluff" is quite the right word as it implies they are trying to deceive an adversary. In this case the Cameroons are trying to deceive their own supporters.

  3. Heath got us in to the EEC. Thatcher signed up to the single market. Major signed the Maastricht Treaty. Blair signed the Treaty of Amsterdam and Nice. Brown signed the Treaty of Lisbon.

    I see a trend in all this. Cameron will sign the Treaty of Brussles which commits us to economic union. (But he will negociate an opt-out to be in Europe but not run by Europe).

    All are politicians are Quislings.
