An interesting analysis

John O'Sullivan in the Spectator discusses Obama's narrow and rather bitter victory and muses about the future. Nothing specific but not as depressed and hopeless as some analyses.

  1. Nothing narrow about it! The Electoral College sees to that.
"I 'gin to be a'weary of the sun, and wish the estate of the world were now undone".

  2. The article speaks of the popular vote.

Don't quite see the relevance of the quote.
