Open thread?

I should really have put this up on Saturday before I went to Oxford, knowing that on my return I shall be quite busy. However, here it is, belatedly. All can have a go at various subject but usual rule of comments applies. I am, incidentally, quite ruthless if needs be.

Later on I shall post on various matters but, in the meantime I have to go and read boring documents about nutrition advice. Sigh!

  1. We've been told great things about how the green boom is the next big thing after the immigration boom and the European Union boom (which gave us the economic benefits of diversity and wise governance).

Now, the green boom is marked down to lead us out of recession and offer boundless growth opportunities and ultra-skilled, high value jobs for British people, and provide for an efficient, sustainable future for our children who will suffer no want or waste.

    How's it going?

It's funny because I can hear a loud sucking sound which I believe is the taxpayer's pocket being rapidly emptied of its cash and a suspicious rattle from the government machine that is taking it, which appears to have broken down in the attempt to consume it all.

    I hope there isn't a problem.
